Antimicrobial agents (AMW) are substances that have an effect on the growth of microbes, i.e. bacteria, fungi, yeasts and sometimes also viruses, and can reduce or even completely prevent their proliferation. The mode of action is usually the same for all types of active substance, there is an effect on the cell membranes of the microbes, which are penetrated and the cell nucleus ultimately inactivated. However, the way in which this is done is different. Most AMWs chemically act on and dissolve the cell wall. abbeo also uses the latest and patented technologies that are on the market and which have a physical effect on the cell wall.
